Abstract:
Phauda flammans damages Ficus. Observation on morphological properties and sexing was carried out by stereo microscope. The resultdemonstrated that there is one longitudinal cleft at the 8th abdominal segment in female pupa and one at the 9th abdominal segment in male one. Malemoth was slightly smaller in size than female one.Female moth has whiteantenna while male has black one. Ventral body hairs of female moth areblack, while that of male gray. By the end of female abdomen there is an obvious ovipositor, yellow vesicular gland. There are 1 pairs of black cercuson male adult abdominal end. Squeezing the abdomen end, claspers separated, penises protruded. The reproductive system of female P.flammansmoth includes one pair of ovaries, ovarioles, egg tube, spermathecae, etc. The reproductive system of male P. flammansmoth includes atestes, one pair of vas deferens, one pair of accessory gland, double precision tube, single precision tube, penis and claspers.
