Abstract:
Investigations were carried out on fruit traits of 89 individual of wild Camellia pitardii with unit crown area fruit yield over 1 kg·m-2 and distributed in Panxian county, Guizhou province in September 2013. The result showed that it had great difference of fruit yield among individuals. Single fruit quality, height, width, thickness of exocarp, kernel number and quality of different individuals had evident differences. Based on the standards of oil content(>45%), unit crown fruit yield (>2 kg·m-2)and percent of seeding(>35%), twenty-two individuals were selected as plus individual.
