Abstract:
In June 2020, branches of Torreya grandis ‘Merrillii’ with eriophyoid mite was collected in stand of Fuyang, Zhejiang province for identification and observation of morphology. In October 2021, 15% pyridaben, 3% emamectin benzoate·lufenuron, 5% abamectin, and 21% abamectin·spirodiclofen was applied and Neoseiulus californicus were released in stand of Quzhou, Zhejiang province to control experiment. The results showed that the eriophyoid mite was N. abiesis. The population density of N. abiesis in Quzhou ranged from 16.84 to 30.84 heads/leaf. The chemical control demonstrated that 21% abamectin·spirodiclofen and 15% pyridaben was recommended with control effect of 87.00%. Release of N. californicus can prey on the eggs, nymphs and adults of N. abiesis, with control effect of 55.93%.
