Abstract:
From March 2004 to November 2021, butterfly resources in Mt. Yandang, Zhejiang province were investigated by line transect and net trapping. The result demonstrated that there were 205 species of butterfly belonging to 113 genera and 11 families. Analysis showed that they there had 11 distribution patterns, among which 139 species (67.81%) belong to the Oriental Region, 37 species in Palaearctic and Oriental Regions, accounting for 18.05%, 4 species (1.95%) from Palaearctic and 6 species (2.93%) from Oriental and Australian Regions. There were 5 species in Palaearctic, Oriental, Australian and African Regions, accounting for 2.43%. The left distribution patterns were scattered. Butterfly in Mt. Yandang belongs to the Oriental Region. In the zoogeographical region of China, 28 species in central China, including 50 species in South and Central China, accounting for 24.39%, 21 species in South China, Southwest China, Central China and North China, accounting for 10.24%, 20 species in South China, Southwest China and Central China, accounting for 9.75%.
