Abstract:
In recent years, scholars, at home or abroad, have conducted multi-dimensional and multi-angle research and investigation on the dormancy and germination regulation mechanisms of some forest plant seeds. However, compared with model plants and crops, forest plants are affected by long growth cycles and complex seed dormancy mechanisms, thus the research of the molecular mechanism related to forest seed dormancy and germination is not still in-depth, making it a difficult issue in the field of forestry research at present. This paper elaborated on the regulatory mechanism of seed germination and dormancy, and pointed out the deficiencies in current research on forest seeds dormancy and germination, proposed the orientation for further research, aiming to provide theoretical support for a more comprehensive understanding of the mechanism of forest seed dormancy and germination, as well as for forest breeding, cultivation and ecological protection.
