Abstract:
Forest park is an important part of the natural protected area system, whose boundary demarcation is the basis of park planning and construction, and is the most direct reflection of its protection targets and management objectives. Taking Yiwu Huaxi Provincial Forest Park as the study object, this paper applied a boundary delineation method based on ecosystem integrity assessment within the regional evaluation framework, selected eleven evaluation indicators that could represent native species and their complete ecological processes in the ecosystem from both ecosystem and landscape perspectives in order to establish the integrated evaluation system of “structure-function-composition” of the ecosystem. Based on the analysis of ecosystem integrity evaluation results in the study area, the plots in the original southwest and north of the park with high fragmentation of patches, high landscape separation and great influence of human activities were transferred out, the western and eastern parts where high-level area in ecosystem integrity evaluation accounted for 78.23% were incorporated, thereby ensuring the stability of the ecosystem and the connectivity of species habitat. The total area of Yiwu Huaxi Forest Park was finally determined to be 2 662.09 hm
2, which increased by 468.70 hm
2, compared with the vectorized area of the original park, with the cumulative removed land area of 533.07 hm
2 and the cumulative incorporated land area of 1 090.17 hm
