生态疏伐对退化阔叶林植物群落主要物种生态位与种间联结特征的影响

Effect of Ecological Thinning on Niche and Interspecific Association Characteristics of Dominant Species in Degraded Broad-leaved Forest Plant Communities

  • 摘要: 生态疏伐作为一种基于自然的森林经营措施,在退化森林恢复中具有重要作用。本研究以浙江省庆元县典型退化阔叶林为对象,设置生态疏伐区与对照区,系统比较了两者在物种组成、生态位特征及种间联结性方面的差异。结果表明,疏伐后物种组成发生明显更替,部分物种[如乳源木莲(Manglietia yuyuanensis)、冬青(Ilex chinensis)]的生态位宽度收窄,而南岭栲(Castanopsis fordii)等物种的生态位宽度与重要值显著提升。疏伐降低了多数物种对间的生态位重叠,缓解了种间竞争,促进了生态位分化;同时,种间联结强度显著减弱,群落结构由紧密关联转向松散状态。本研究揭示了生态疏伐通过改变资源分配与种间关系影响群落构建的机制,建议采取小强度、多阶段的疏伐方式,以促进退化阔叶林的生态恢复与生物多样性保护。

     

    Abstract: Ecological thinning, as a nature-based forest management measure, plays an important role in the restoration of degraded forests. In this study, a typical degraded broad-leaved forest in Qingyuan County, Zhejiang Province, was selected as the research object, and both a thinning plot and a control plot were established to systematically compare the differences in species composition, niche characteristics and interspecific associations. The results showed that species composition changed significantly after thinning with niche breadth narrowing for some species (e.g., Manglietia yuyuanensis, Ilex chinensis), while both the niche breadth and importance value of species such as Castanopsis fordii increased significantly. Thinning reduced niche overlap among most species pairs, alleviated interspecific competition, and promoted niche differentiation. Meanwhile, the intensity of interspecific associations weakened considerably, and the community structure shifted from closely connected state to loosely associated one. This study reveals the mechanism that the ecological thinning affects community assembly through altering resource allocation and interspecific relationships. It is recommended that a low-intensity and multi-stage thinning approaches be adopted to facilitate the ecological restoration and biodiversity conservation in degraded broad-leaved forests.
