Abstract:
The Budget Quota for Afforestation Engineering in Zhejiang Province provides a scientific basis for the establishment and implementation of forestry engineering projects in Zhejiang Province with clear engineering pricing standards. However, in the project design process, cost calculation is tedious and prone to errors, which affects the design time and effectiveness. In this situation, the SaaS (Software as a Service) system for afforestation project design budget based on cloud computing technology was developed. The system provider hosted the application programs on the cloud server, and users could access the service directly from multiple terminal devices through the Internet, without the need for software installation or maintenance. Moreover, the intelligent algorithms of the system internal formulas enabled designers to rapidly match afforestation and forestation quotas and generate project cost. The system freed designers from heavy cost calculations, thereby enabling them to concentrate on core tasks such as process design and seedling configuration. In addition, the platform had a project accumulation function, which not only provided initial designers with design templates and experience, but also extracted common construction approaches and tree species pattern configurations for experienced designers, thereby meeting the personalized needs of designers. Consequently, the system facilitated the informatization, automation, and efficiency of afforestation and forestation planning, design and management. In summary, the SaaS system for afforestation project design budget based on cloud computing technology combines the afforestation project design budget with the Internet intelligence for the first time, reflecting the characteristics of high efficiency, high quality and low cost in practical project applications, thus this system fully demonstrates its promising prospects in engineering afforestation projects.
