Genetic Variation of Growth Traits of Filial Generation from Second Generation SeedOrchard of Cunninghamia lanceolata and Family Selection

  • Determinations and analysis were conducted on height, DBH and volume of 38 families of 10-year filial generation from the secondgeneration seed orchard of Cunninghamia lanceolata in 2015 in Longquan, Zhejiang province. The results showed that it had great difference of thethree growth traits among families (α= 0.01), with high heritability and medium variable coefficient. Seven fast-growing families were selected bymultiple comparisons, based on volume growth, their height, DBH and volume was 15.15% , 18.83% and 59.61 % respectively higher than that of thecontrol.
