Technical Characteristics and Discussion on the Latest Forest Management Inventory in Zhejiang Province

Introductions were made on the history of forest resources inventory in Zhejiang province, as well as background of the latest inventory. Discussions were carried out on technical characteristics of revised “Operating Regulations of Forest Resource Inventory in Zhejiang province” in 2014. Relative technical regulations were changed for better cooperation of forest land variation, integration of forest resources monitoring to have the same data. Survey should be implemented by subcompartment, and land types were adjusted. According to practice of operation regulations in the past two years and local situation, some questions needed to be focused such as monitoring indicators for ecological forest, too old volume tables, etc. Suggestions were put forwarded namely using high precision remote sensing images, strengthening forestry professionals.
