  • Field investigations were implemented in 2015 and 2016 on resources of Lagerstroemia indica in Zhejiang province based on “Guidelines for the conduct of tests for distinctness, uniformity and stability-crapemytle (L.indica)”.Cultivars of L.indica Bicolor Group were reported.The result demonstrated that 22 cultivars were identified, among them, 10 ones had been reported, and 12 ones were new records.The investigation demonstrated that some new cultivars, such as L.indica‘Zishan Yingxia’,L.indica ‘Duohua Yinbian Jinwei’,L.indica ‘Caihui’ andL.indica ‘Duoban Fen’ were of excellently ornamental characteristics.
