Experiment on Rejuvenation by Inarch Grafting of Citrus reticulate ‘unshiu’×hassaku on Poncirus trifoliata

  • Experiment was conducted on rejuvenation of depression Citrus reticulate ‘unshiu’ × hassaku plantation by different inarch grafting with C.reticulate ‘unshiu’ × hassaku as scions and Poncirus trifoliata as rootstock during February and April in Qingyuan, Zhejiang province.The results showed that inarch grafting had evident effect on stock diameter and crown growth, but no significant effect on height growth compared with the control (ungrafting).Different inarch grafting had significant effect on survival rate.The inarching implemented in March had better survival rate than that in February and April, with the top of 95.83%.
