Thermal Environment Evaluation of Landscape and Prospect

  • Reviews were made on factors of thermal environment, such as water bodies, vegetation, stones, buildings and structures at home and abroad, and two thermal environment assessment paths in term of site users and the landscape environment.Various methods for thermal environment assessment of landscape sites were presented.Thermal infrared remote sensing based on light unmanned aerial vehicle system was recommended for thermal environment evaluation with lower cost, higher timeliness and higher precision.The application on data acquisition and design coordination is explored around the upper physical space and the lower social space of the canopy, advantages and disadvantages of this technology for landscape thermal environment assessment as well as its application prospect are discussed in order to guide the landscape design and provide a new perspective for thermal environment quantitative research.
