Evaluation on Stand Environment Quality of 8 Tree Species in Hanghzou by Analytic Hierarchy Process

  • In autumn and winter 2017, pure stands of 8 common tree species in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province were selected to determine 12 indicators of photosynthetic physiological traits, dust holding capacity and stand environment.Comprehensive evaluation model was established by analytic hierarchy process. The result showed that weight of ecological function indicators was higher than that of dust holding capacity and photosynthetic physiological traits, indicating the key to improve environmental quality.Six key indicators were identified, including dust holding per unit leaf area, PM2.5 and PM10 concentration in the stands, anion concentration, the maximum photochemical efficiency and non photochemical quenching coefficient. The evaluation on the measured indictors and weight matrix suggested the environmental quality of tested tree species ordered as follows in autumn Magnolia grandiflora > Koelreuteria bipinnata ‘integrifoliola’ > Cinnamomum camphora > Schima superba > Viburnum odoratissinum > Castanopsis sclerophylla > Phyllostachys praecox ‘Prevernalis’ > Phyllostachys edulis. And in the winter, the order was the similar except K. bipinnata ‘integrifoliola’.
