  • In Qingtian of Zhejiang province, 2 experiment fields were selected at Camellia olerifera stand, 3 sample plots with 20m×30m were established at each field for raising 50 chickens each in May 2018. In April 2018 and 2019, investigations were carried out on Popillia spp., in April 2018 and July 2019 on Casmara patrona, in October 2018 and 2019 on Curculio chinensis, and during May and November 2019 on weed density at tested plots. The results showed that compared with the control (no raising), raising chicken could significantly reduce damage of insects and weed density.
