Abstract
Trichosanthes glandulosa G. Q. Zhu, H. Z. Peng et X. H. Liu, a new species of Trichosanthes L. was reported. T. glandulosa is similar to T. laceribractea Hayata, but the leaf axils of T. glandulosa was pseudostipule, linear-lanceolate, adaxially involute, and male raceme with bract, calyx glandular pubescent outside, segments open, triangular-lanceolate, 2.0-2.5 cm, apex caudate, margin laciniate. Pedicel of female flowers was hispidulous and glandular pubescent, calyx glandular pubescent outside, segments lanceolate, 1.0-1.7 cm, margin serrate or laciniate,ovary glandular pubescent, and was easy to distinguish from the latter.
