Research Progress in Resources Development and Application of Ilex

Presentations were made on researches on botanical properties of Ilex in terms of morphological structure, chemical component andmolecular biology at home and abroad. Generative and vegetative propagation of Ilex was reviewed. Meantime, researches on medicinal value andapplication in gardens were introduced. Propositions were put forwarded for the future study such as on genetic relationship among species of Ilex,commercial utilization, etc.
