Investigation and Evaluation of Landscape Ground Cover Plants in Xiaoshan District

  • From July 2019 to June 2020, investigation was conducted on common landscape ground cover plants in Xiaoshan District, Zhejiang province. Evaluation was made on them by adaption, reproduction, resistance and novelty. The result showed that there were 47 species of ground cover plants, belonging to 25 families and 44 genera. Comprehensive evaluation demonstrated that Hosta plantaginea and Hemerocallis fulva had the best performance, and the lowest were Fatshedera lizei, Rohdea japonica and Tecomaria capensis.
