Investigation and Comprehensive Evaluation on Cultivars of Paeonia suffruticosa in Changshu City of Jiangsu Province

During September 2019 and August 2020, investigations were carried out on resources of different cultivars of Paeonia suffruticosa in Changshu city, Jiangsu province. Comprehensive evaluation was made by analytic hierarchy process. The results showed that there were four cultivar groups of P. suffruticosa in Changshu, namely Jiangnan Group, Zhongyuan Group, Japanese and French Group, with a total of 64 cultivars, most of them were Zhongyuan and Japanese group, accounting for 92.18%. Comprehensive evaluation demonstrated that there were 3 cultivars belonging to grade I, 9 cultivars to grade II, 42 cultivars to grade III and 10 ones to grade IV. Zhongyuan and Japanese Group had better growth in in Changshu city, especially Zhongyuan Group, 9 cultivar of grade II were belonging to it.
