Abstract
n 2017, 30 sample plots were established in Quercus variabilis forest Jigongshan National Nature Reserve at slope of° 5°, 15° 30° for determination of respiratory rate and physio-chemical properties. The result demonstrated that soil respiratory rate in sample plots at 5° was 26.1% and 39.0% higher than that at 15° and 30°. Soil temperature, moisture, and respiratory rate was influenced by different season. Soil respiratory rate had close relation with soil total N and organic carbon content in sample plots at 5° and 15°, while at 30°, soil temperature showed greater contribution to the variation of soil respiratory rate.
