Experiment on Purification Technology of Bamboo Leaf Flavonoid by AB-8 and Its Antioxidant Activity

  • AB-8 macroporous resin was used to purify bamboo leaf flavonoid (BLF). With adsorption rate and desorption rate of BLF as the indicators, experiments were conducted on the optimal technology for selection of the mass concentration, the flow rate and volume of loading solution, the ethanol concentration, the flow rate and volume of elution. The result demonstrated that BLF increased from 28.39% to 77.42% under the technology as follows: the concentration of loading solution was 1.2 mg/mL, the loading volume was 60 mL, and the flow rate was 2 BV/h, the ethanol concentration was 70%, the volume of eluent was 60 mL, and the flow rate was 3 BV/h. The antioxidant activity showed that BLF had the highest scavenging rate of 96.68% for DPPH and 29.41% for ·OH.
