Composition and Diversity of Insect in Qianjiangyuan National Park

  • During May 2016 and November 2018, investigation of insect resources was conducted by different methods in Qianjiangyuan National Park, Zhejiang province. The result demonstrated that there were 2 014 species belonging to 1 244 genera, 275 families and 24 orders. Families of Lepidoptera, Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera and Hemiptera, accounted for 17.45%, 14.91%, 12.36%, 11.27% and 10.55% of the total ones, and their species occupied 25.93%, 15.6%, 10.53%, 23.0% and 8.49% of the ones in the Park. The natural enemy insect, medicinal insect and ornamental insect had 263 species of 73 families, accounting for 13.07% of the total species. Analysis showed that Shannon-Wiener diversity index, Simpson dominance index and Margalef richness index had similar changes, revealing that the insect community structure in Qianjiangyuan National Park was stable.
