Culture of Peripheral Lymphocyte and Chromosome Analysis of Panthera tigris amoyensis

  • Human peripheral blood lymphocyte culture medium was used to culture the peripheral Homo sapiens blood lymphocytes of Panthera tigris amoyensis, then the cultured cells fixed, the chromosomes spread, and G-banding by trypsin digestion. The results showed that there were 38 chromosomes, its karyotype formula was: 6 (m) +6 (sm) +3 (st) +2 (t), X, Y (m, m), of which the 12th pair was the satellite chromosome. G-banding characteristics P. tigris amoyensis chromosomes could be divided into 6 types, including 6 types A, 8 types B, 4 types C, 8 types D, 6 types E, 4 types F, and sex chromosomes X and Y. However, the long arm of D3 chromosome of P. tigris amoyensis lacks a hyper chromatic band, and monomeric heteromorphic occurs on C1 and F2 chromosomes.
