Abstract
Experiments were conducted on adsorption decoloring by different ratio of tea oil and activated carbon, with different temperature and time. The results showed that adsorption decoloring time was the main factor affecting decoloration, acid value and peroxide value of tea oil with the most optimal time of 20 minutes. Adsorption decoloring temperature was the main factor affecting efficiency of decoloration, acid value and peroxide value, with the optimal temperature of 60℃. The ratio of activated carbon and tea oil was the key factor affecting the limit of decoloration, acid value and peroxide value, with the best ratio of 20g/kg. The acid value and peroxide value of tea oil was significantly affected by decoloration process by activated carbon. The acid value and peroxide value decreased with color.
