Research Progress of Identification, Breeding and Cultivation Techniques of Germplasm Resources of Medicinal Polygonatum spp.

Presentations were made on distribution, germplasm resources, properties, components and molecular markers, genetic diversity, breeding and field management of medicinal Polygonatum spp. It was suggested that the breeding techniques of improved medicinal Polygonatum spp. should be strengthened and extended in the future. The research and development direction is aimed at improving the cultivation mode of medicinal Polygonatum spp. according to local conditions.
