One New Species of Vietnamella (Ephemeroptera: Vietnamellidae) Using Morphology and molecule——V. baishanzuensis sp. nov.

Vietnamella baishanzuensis sp. nov. Zhang, Huang and Zhang, 2023, a new species of genus Vietnamella (Ephemeroptera: Vietnamellidae) collected from Baishanzu National Nature Reserve in July 2019, and Daxiyuan Provincial Nature Reserve in Zhejiang province and Zhejiang Wuyanling National Nature Reserve in July 2022, was recorded. The morphological characteristics of species was described in detail, characteristic pattern was photographed, and the new species was also well identified using COI gene. The genetic distance between V. baishanzuensis and V. sinensis was about 0.097~0.22, which is larger than the genetic distance (0.08~0.19) within interspecies of insects. Vietnamella baishanzuensis was the sister clade to V. sinensis using COI gene in the BI and ML trees. Type specimen of V. baishanzuensis sp. nov. was deposited in Entomological Museum of Zhejiang Normal University.
