Analysis and Comparison of the Main Efficacy Components of Roots of Xiaoxianggou from Different Sources

  • In order to screen and obtain excellent Xiaoxianggou (Radix et Chulis Fici Angustifoliae) germplasm resources, the contents of psoralen, total flavonoids, total phenols and total triterpenoids in 2-year-old xiaoxianggou from 14 different sources were determined. The results showed that the highest content of psoralen in sample No. 14 (Suichang County, Zhejiang Province) was 8.14±0.24 g·kg−1; the highest content of flavonoids in sample No. 9 (Lishui City, Zhejiang Province) was 14.70±0.29 g·kg−1; the total phenol content in sample No. 3 (Longquan City, Zhejiang Province) was significantly higher than that in other samples, with 23.06 ±0.96 g·kg−1; the total triterpene content in sample No. 7 (Sanming City, Fujian Province) was significantly higher than that in other samples, with22.07±0.88 g·kg−1. In summary, samples No. 3, 7, 9 and 14 were initially selected for further optimization at a later stage, with sample No. 3 being the best.This study provides a scientific basis for the selection and breeding of germplasm resources of Xiaoxianggou.
