Forest Resource Characters of State-owned Forest Farms in Zhejiang province

  • Principle component analysis were made on total management area, area of forest, utilization ratio of forest land, forest volume, forest stock per unit area, forest coverage rate, ecological forest area, timber yield, bamboo culm yield, area of nature reserve, area of scenic spots and proportion of plantation area, based on the forest resource inventory data of the state-owned forest farms in Zhejiang province in 2015. Hierarchical clustering analysis on 5 principal components representing forest resource features indicated that 100 state-owned forest farms could be divided into 9 groups.
