Cultivation of Mushroom under Phyllostachys heterocycla cv. Pubescens

  • Pleurotus geesteranus and Pleurotus cornucopiae were selected for cultivation under Phyllostachys heterocycla cv. pubescens stand with treated Pennisetum sinese and tea residue as culture medium in April of 2014, and mushroom collection was carried out during late April and late June. The results showed that the tested medium could produce mushroom, especially treated P sinese. After the mushroom cultivation, medium were covered. Determinations on soil nutrients before and after cultivation indicated that K, P contents increased, soil acidation was effectively alleviated.
