Research Status and Suggestions for Further Development of Anion Wood-based Panel

  • Anion wood-based panels are usually manufactured by anion materials and wood-based panels through dipping, coating, blending, which can continuously release negative ions. Descriptions were made on researches on negative ion materials, negative ion wood-based panels, as well as on standards for technology of negative ion wood-based panels production and testing methods. It exist regulation blind zone of negative ion wood-based panels in detection of negative ion material radioactivity, poor sustainable release performance of negative ion. The quality of wood-based panels was uneven, and it needs quality evaluation standards for antibacterial and aldehyde-reducing properties. Suggestions were put forwarded for further development such as strengthening research on the structure of anion materials and new materials that can release anion, and formulation of radioactivity-related testing standards of negative ion materials for the effect of negative ion wood-based panels on air purification.
