Observation on Phenological Period of Baisha Loquat in Lishui

  • Observations were carried out on phonological period of Baisha loquat at Xiawo and Damenlou village of Lishui, Zhejiang province from 2010 to 2012, and comparisons on their stages at Putian of Fujian, Tangxi of Zhejiang, Wuxian of Jiangsu demonstrated that fruit ripening period at Lishui is later than that at Putian, but earlier than that at Tangxi and Wuxian. But there are two limit factors to fruit quality and quantity, namely low temperature in the winter and consecutive raining in the spring. Propositions were put forwarded for better development of Baisha loquat in Lishui.
